How to Use Affirmations If You’re a Beginner

If you’re not familiar with affirmations, it might be a little tricky at first to incorporate them in your daily routine.

My advice is that it’s best to start small and see where it takes you. Choose a few affirmations that you genuinely like and truly resonate with you (no more than five) and repeat them in your mind for a few minutes every day – like a mantra. For instance, you can make them a part of your morning routine, and see how they’ll help with your day, or of your night routine so you go to bed feeling lighter and more hopeful for the next day.

I’d love to hear which affirmations you liked the most and how they made you feel.

I’m glad I visited Boston in 2022. 🔙 I’m g I’m glad I visited Boston in 2022. 🔙

I’m glad that looking back at these photos reminds me of how lonely and sad I was feeling at that moment.

That trip was the beginning of the end for so many things – some of them unrelated to each other.

I’m grateful for all the wrong decisions I made, all the hurtful experiences I had, all the toxic people I let freely roam into my life.

Because, otherwise, how would I have made it to the other side?

I don’t miss anything from the past. I never feel nostalgic.

I also don’t try to punish myself over things I didn’t end sooner – over people I didn’t leave sooner. It doesn’t matter.

I do allow myself, though, to be happy about how far I’ve come, the cycles I’ve broken, the patterns I’ve unlearned.

Here’s to never going back to the same places with the same mindset. ✨🙏
