Two Months Left in 2025 – How to Make the Most Out of Them

October 28, 2025October 28, 2025 Danae 1 comment

Time flies and, somehow, there are only two months left in 2025. 60 days – and while this doesn’t seem like a lot, there’s still plenty of time to make changes, complete projects, or accomplish some of your goals. In other words, it’s time to be intentional and make sure that you’ll make the most out of the rest of 2025.

I feel like 2025 was a good but challenging year. I’m both looking forward to Christmas (it’s my favorite holiday!) and trying to be confident about the things I’d like to achieve before the year ends. Whether you feel excited about the holidays or stressed about goals you haven’t accomplished yet, there are various ways to take advantage of the last two months of 2025.

IN THIS POST I’M SHARING six ways to make the most out the last 60 days of 2025 by finding motivation and prioritizing the things that truly matter.

1. Set the Right Intentions

How do you want to spend the last two months of 2025? What would make you feel proud of yourself and, if possible, whole? It’s time to set a few intentions for the rest of the year in order to stay grounded and keep in mind everything that is important to you.

By setting intentions, you’ll find it simpler to focus on the things that matter and take aligned actions to achieve your goals. This way, it’ll be easier to stick with your routines and habits, and keep a positive mindset.

    2. Define Your Last 3 Top Goals of the Year

What are the non-negotiable goals that you absolutely want to achieve by the end of the year? Make sure to pick goals that are important to you and possible to achieve in two months.

Decide on your top three goals, write them down, and break them into small tasks that’ll make them easier to achieve. Focus just on them and work consistently on accomplishing them.

      3. Do a General Reset

The last months of the year is the best time to do a physical, mental, and even digital reset and decluttering. Consider decluttering some areas of your house and make a list of things you’d like to buy and do for your space. Reflect on your habits and routines to realize what truly works for you. Reflect on the goals you’ve already accomplished and do some journaling about where you stand in life. Go through your devices and declutter photos, files, bookmarks, and downloads.

By doing a life reset, you’ll gain clarity about what’s going on in your life and you’ll step into the new year with confidence and a clear mind about the things you want to achieve and focus on.

        4. Tie Loose Ends

It’s a good time to go through all your half-written stories and articles, half-done projects, and uncompleted tasks, and see what’s easy and quick to complete.

Create a realistic plan and keep things manageable by focusing on one task at a time. Complete as many tasks and projects as you can and keep track of your progress. This way, you’ll step into the new year with less projects and the freedom to set new creative goals.

          5. Write a Letter to Your Future Self

It’s self – explanatory, but yeah, do it! Write a letter to your future self, and make sure to read it when 2026 ends. Write your thoughts and wishes about how you’d like your life to be in one year from now, what you’d like to achieve and how you’d like to be as a person.

I actually did that last year, and I just read my letter from 2024. To be honest, I’d forgotten about it until I outlined this post. So, it was a pleasant surprise and it even made me a little emotional. It was nice to see that many things have worked out and come true. Also, it makes it easier to be grateful for how far I’ve come in my life journey.

            6. Start Planning the New Year

If you don’t like rushing, you can already plan the year ahead – or, at least, start doing it.
You can pick your 2026 theme, create your yearly vision board, choose the quote of the year, and even set your 2026 goals.

By getting clear on what you want out of 2026, you’ll be able to welcome the new year with clarity, work confidently on your goals, and embrace the exciting opportunities that come your way.

              Final Thoughts

It’s important to give yourself grace and celebrate your small wins even if you don’t achieve everything you want by the end of 2025. In any case, make sure to appreciate your efforts and enjoy as much as possible the upcoming holidays.

What are some ways you plan to prepare for the last 2 months of 2025? Do you plan to take it slowly by reflecting on the year so far or focus on the rest of your goals and projects?

              Until next time!

              Take care of yourself,
              Danae
