Happy Monday, lovelies! ❤️
Let’s get comfortable and enjoy our coffee together because it’s time to set the tone for the new week and wrap this month up. What are you drinking today? I’m having a tasty cappuccino that keeps me warm! ☕
Reflecting on September
September is ending, and it finally feels like autumn in Greece. The temperature has dropped significantly, and it’s been rainy for the past couple of days. Right now, I’m writing with a thin Halloween themed blanket on my lap, and I couldn’t be more delighted. I just love the fall vibes! Who can blame me for that? 💅
Overall, it’s been a really good month, and I’ve been able to feel the fresh energy of the new season. It’s also been somewhat busy and with a few lows, but there has been significant progress with some of my goals.
I think I’ll remember this September fondly, and I think that, in general, it’s becoming one of my favorite months.

Three things that worked well in September
- I’ve written more than 10k words this month, and that’s an amazing personal accomplishment. I know some people can write this amount of words in two days, but hey, we don’t compare ourselves here.
- Somehow, I completed almost all of my monthly goals: I’ve started taking my writing and personal brand more seriously, I applied to a few jobs on LinkedIn, I was way more active on socials promoting my writing and networking, I lost some weight, and took a few steps to romanticize life.
- My anxiety is getting better. I went through an average anxiety episode in August, but luckily this month I’ve been feeling better, and I’ve been taking a few steps to improve my mindset and mental health.
Making a few changes on the website
Danae Thinks That is concluding its second month, and I’m happy with how it’s going. My main ambition for it is to become a cozy and safe hub for people who’re interested in personal development, slow living, healing, and living more creatively – honestly, it’s as simple and as complicated as that.
A few updates:
- This week, I’m taking it slow with the blog, so I can post more on Medium. This means that I’ll publish a new post next monday (October 6).
- I’m thinking of adding a few more sub-categories because I’d like to also share monthly favorites, shopping hauls, and my writing adventures. Stay tuned!
My Weekly Goals
Lastly, it’s time to overshare a little bit about my weekly goals like I do in every Monday Coffee. #imjustagirl
My weekly goals – vaguely, because I haven’t really planned this week extensively yet:
- Prepare for October. You get it: make a vision board, go through my finances, check my fitness and spiritual planner, and write down my monthly goals.
- Post and interact as much as possible on Medium. If I can show up daily, that’s even better.
- Complete the last unit on Duolingo’s Spanish tree.
- Take a Skillshare class on social media marketing.
- Keep decluttering and tidying around. If you’ve read my previous posts, you already know that we’ve been doing a few renovations at home. So, I’d like to keep decluttering (especially books and clothes) and tidying around the house.
