Happy Monday, fellow dreamers.🤍 It’s been a while since the last time we shared a coffee, but it’s easier to write such posts when I actually have something to say. So, how has summer been treating you so far? June is almost over, and it’s hard to believe how fast time is passing. Luckily, the temperature is tolerable where I live, and we haven’t experienced the kind of heatwave that’s been tormenting many European countries yet.
In all honesty, I’m looking forward to July. I hope it’s going to be a creative month, and then, I’m going to spend the holidays with my partner. 💕
It’s almost the middle of the year, so it’s a good opportunity to express our gratitude for how far we’ve made it this year. A mid – year reset and a re-evaluation of the yearly goals seem to be necessary as well, but not before acknowledging our progress so far.
So, in this post I’m focusing on exactly that: expressing gratitude.

10 Things I’m grateful for in 2026
1. I’m grateful for how far I’ve come this year regarding content creation. It’s been like a year since I started Danae Thinks That, and now there is a small but meaningful community. ❤️
2. I’m grateful for being in the healthiest relationship of my life. It feels like a safe space where I can explore who I am, share my thoughts, fears, and concerns, and grow as a person.
3. I’m grateful for being more creative. This year, I’ve started a Substack, explored new writing genres, started writing a book, connected with new fandoms. I haven’t felt that connected to my creativity in a decade or so.
4. I’m grateful for having the opportunity and the ability to travel and explore new places. Traveling always makes a big difference to my mental health.
5. I’m grateful for the people who exist in my life, and care about me.
6. I’m grateful for being healthy, safe, and loved.
7. I’m grateful for being more confident than I used to be. It’s nice to not be afraid to express my opinions, and to know what I want from life.
8. I’m grateful for having enough free time to explore my interests, hobbies, and opportunities for personal development.
9. I’m grateful for all the things I let go of because they no longer served me.
10. I’m grateful for being happier than I did this time last year. 🤍
What are you feeling grateful for right now? How has your life improved in 2026 so far? What have you done to upgrade your life this year? ❤️
